Ghana defender Abdul Baba Rahman feels his country has enough quality to scale through the ‘group of death’ at next year’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The five-time African champions have drawn Algeria, Senegal and South Africa in the group perceived as the toughest.
Rahman has been an added piece to the Black Stars since he gatecrashed the squad during the qualifiers and the Augsburg left-back says the group opponent do not pose any serious threat.
“There is no group of death in my opinion. It is a tough group but in order to be the best, you have to win against the toughest or the best,” Rahman told goal.com
“Any team can win against any team and if we are preparing to take the title then we have to also be prepared to battle against these teams.”
