Ghana’s Black Sticks lost their third match of the 2015 FIH Women’s Hockey League after they were beaten by Poland 4-0 in India.
Ghana went into the game on the back of two losses to India (13-0) and Thailand (3-1) and there were expectations of a better result but it did not happen as the Polish side were too strong for the Ghanaian ladies.
Magdalena Zagajska, Amelia Katerla, Oriana Walasek and Paula Slawinska scored in the 6th, 23rd, 48th and 60th minutes respectively.
Ghana is currently bottom of Pool A which has India, Poland and Thailand and the Black Sticks have a goal difference of minus 19.
They play Malaysia on the 12 of March in their next match.
