Black Stars coach Avram Grant has jumped to the defense of Spanish based goalkeeper Razak Braimah after an unconvincing performance show against Mauritius.
Braimah, has been partly blamed for the stars conceding in their 7-1 victory against Mauritius.
The 27 year old seemed to have lost concentration momentarily leading to the Mauritian goal.
In addition, there were moments when he almost fumbled back passes leading to murmurs of discontentment among the supporters.
But Grant says every player commits mistakes and that the most important thing is bouncing back. He also urged observers to support the team and leave the hard decisions to him.
“Our goalkeeper kept four clean sheets in six games and he did a very good job. He is one of the best and also the rest of our players.
Sometimes we make little mistakes but the most important is how we recover. Like every game, it was not perfect for us and even the best team in the world would still look for improvement.
But I suggest to you to concentrate about the good things because you are a supporter and I am a coach and I will concentrate on the other things.”
