Black Bombers leave for Rio qualifiers in Cameroon

Ghana’s Amateur Boxing Team the Black Bombers today departed for Cameroon where they will participate in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games qualifier.

The contingent made up of 9 boxers and 6 officials barely beat the reporting time for the tournament due to difficulty in acquiring the necessary funds.

Ghana’s boxers will compete for slots in 3 different weight classes with other nations on the continent in including Ethiopia,Benin and Cameroon.

The tournament commences on the 10th of March and ends on 20th of the same month.
