Black Stars head coach Avram Grant has cleared the air over comments he made at the post-match press conference of the Ghana-Mozambique match played in Accra last Thursday.
In responding to questions about his agent, Saif Rubie and his remarks on the constant complaints made by Ghanaian sports journalists in relation to Avram Grant, the Israeli coach said Ghanaians needed to forget the “bulls**t” and concentrate on how to get our football to grow.
Grant has now stated his retraction of the swear word and says that he was only calling for more efforts to be made in the development of football in Ghana.
“First, I would like to withdraw the word. I want to tell Ghanaians that I love and respect them. The import of my comment is that we need everybody to focus on the most important things.
We need our leaders (of our football) to look at the things which will take us forward and not on negative things.”
