Sweden’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic will retire from international football after Euro 2016.
Sweden’s next game in the tournament is against Belgium on Wednesday night.
Ibrahimovic, who is expected to join Manchester United this summer, said: “The last game (at Euro 2016) will be my last for Sweden, so I hope it will not be tomorrow.
“I am very proud of what I have achieved and will always bring the Swedish flag with me.”
Ibrahimovic has had a disappointing tournament personally so far, failing to score.
The 34-year-old is his country’s record goalscorer with 62 goals and is looking to become the first player to score in four European Championship finals.
