Kwadwo Asamoah’s surgery was successful, so the Juventus midfielder will miss the next 45 days.
The Ghanaian was injured in the win over Palermo on Saturday evening, and it was announced that he would require knee surgery.
“Kwadwo Asamoah today underwent successful meniscectomy surgery on his right knee,” the Bianconeri confirmed on their official website.
“The operation was conducted by Professor Cugat in Barcelona in the presence of Juventus club doctor Claudio Rigo.
“The midfielder will begin his rehabilitation programme immediately and the timeframe for his return to action remains the same as originally estimated, namely around 45 days.”
