Black Stars forward Andre Ayew has resumed training with West Ham United’s first team after a spell out with injury.
Ayew injured his thigh on his Hammers debut away to Chelsea in August and he was expected to be out until December.
However, West Ham medics stated that they would work on him without the pressure of a definite return date.
On Wednesday, Head of Medical and Sports Science Stijn Vandenbroucke revealed in an update that Ayew had returned to training with the rest of the team.
Vandenbroucke said,”… Andre Ayew has returned to full training from the quadriceps injury he suffered at Chelsea in August. Andre has worked hard on his rehabilitation and joined the group on Monday.
His fitness levels improve with every day that passes and we are all looking forward to seeing him back in action soon.”

It is not clear when Ayew will play his next match for West Ham but his return to training could mean that he is not too far away from featuring for the Hammers again this season.
