Black Stars head coach Avram Grant believes that the team can get a favourable result against Egypt on Sunday in Alexandria.
The match is the second for both teams in the qualifying series for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Grant has been overseeing the Black Stars at their training camp in Dubai since Monday and they fly out to Egypt on Friday.
Despite not having captain, Asamoah Gyan, in the team due to injury, Grant is confident in the abilities of the players and is confident of a good outcome.
“We can get a good result but it will not be easy. Ghanaians are worried not afraid and I can understand how they feel. I am also worried about the team because it is my job.
When we have to play without so many key players, it is not the right thing but that is when we need a change in mentality. We need to show what we can do in the times of difficulty.”
The Israeli coach highlighted the qualities of the Egyptian team and stressed on the need to take them serious on Sunday.
“Egypt is a very good team and they have a good generation now. They started to build it some time back while we did ours two years ago. We are working on stability now and they have done so.
They have five or six quality players and a hardworking group. It will be a difficult game for us but it will be tough for them too.”
Ghana has one point while Egypt top the group with three points following their 2-1 away win at Congo Brazzaville on day one of the qualifiers.
