Black Stars winger Christian Atsu trained with Newcastle United at Darsley Park on Monday ahead of their clash with with Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Magpies are currently second in the Championship one point behind Brighton who have 71 points.
On Saturday, Atsu and his team-mates failed to bag the points at home against Bristol City when they drew 2-2.
Atsu got his first start of the 2017 calendar year and the expectations are that he will get more games as the Magpies chase a place in the Premier League next season.
He and his colleagues went through their training under the supervision of manager Rafa Benitez who wants his side to “cut out the errors” and get a win at the Amex Arena against Brighton and Atsu agrees with the former Chelsea and Liverpool boss.
“This is a very difficult game – we know that. But for me, you treat every game the same way. We’ll keep fighting when we go away to Brighton,” he said.
“On Tuesday, we will fight – you have to go to these places and give our best for our fans.”
Should Atsu feature in the match, it will be his 21st of the season with three goals in his account.
