Black Starlets head coach, Paa Kwesi Fabin, says the team will not let up in terms of seriousness as they prepare to face Guinea on Saturday in the African U17 Championships.
Ghana won its first two matches and they already booked a place in the semi finals of the tournament as well as the World Cup in India later this year.
But Fabin is demanding one hundred percent effort from the players.
“We are going into the match against Guinea with the same attitude and mentality even though we will make a few changes to give some of the other players the chance to play.
This will keep them fresh and ready for any eventuality.”
The Starlets beat Cameroon 4-0 in their first Group A game and thumped Gabon 5-0 in the second to record six points and 9 goals in their favour.
Captain Eric Eyiah has scored four of the nine goals with Ibrahim Sulley and Emmanuel Toku sharing another four while Patmos Arhin has the other one to his credit.
The performances have pleased the fans of the team both in Gabon and in Ghana and Fabin is happy with their support.
“I want to thank the fans for their support. I have learned that people are happy back in Ghana and that pleases me because when their happiness is of importance to us.
I pray that they will continue to support us with their prayers so we can return home with the trophy.”
