Incumbent Pr resident of the Ghana Boxing Authority Peter Zwennes is set to run unopposed at the federations upcoming electoral congress.
The renowned attorney who is set for a second term is the only one to have filed nomination forms for the position despite earlier reports that former GBA boss Samir Captan was interested in returning to the helm of affairs.
Under his leadership the GBA have managed to put together a healthy stream of fights for the nation’s top boxers with Emmanuel Tagoe currently the holder of the IBO Lightweight title.
However attempts to start the much talked about Ghana Boxing League has been met with a number of challenges.
The vice President’s position will also be contested by Mr Rabbon Doodo and Manly Spain who contested the top spot four years ago.
The Theodosia Okoh Hockey pitch will host the electoral congress which comes off on May 31.
