Black Stars prepare for Mexico, USA friendlies

The Black Stars have started training ahead of their two international friendlies against Mexico and the United States on June 28 and July 1 respectively.

The team broke camp after beating Ethiopia 5-0 in the first AFCON 2019 qualifier in Kumasi and on Monday, they reconvened to start working ahead of the friendly matches.

21 players were at the training session which was supervised by head coach, Kwesi Appiah.

They were Goalkeepers: Felix Annan, Joseph Addo, Richard Ofori

Defenders: Samuel Sarfo,Lumor Agbenyenu, Daniel Darkwah, John Boye, Nicholas Opoku, Rashid Sumaila, Jerry Akaminko,Daniel Amartey,

Midfielders: Isaac Sackey, Ebenezer Ofori, Thomas Partey, Thomas Agyapong, Winfull Cobbinah, Yaw Yeboah, Frank Acheampong,

Forwards: Asamoah Gyan, Abdul Majeed Waris

The team is expected to continue training on Tuesday.
