Kevin-Prince Boateng has explained his decision to cancel his contract with Las Palmas was due to personal reasons.
Citi Sports broke the news on Wednesday that the Ghanaian has decided to terminate the three-year deal he signed only three months ago.
In a press conference held on Wednesday, the former AC Milan player said that he had missed his family and thus, decided to leave the club in order to be closer to his family.
He said that he struggled to focus on football and that the club’s President, Miguel Angel Ramirez, listened to him and granted him his wish to leave Spain.
It is uncertain where Boateng will go next but some reports have linked him with a move to Germany.
