Head Coach of Medeama Evans Adotey has identified the pitch at the Tamale Stadium as the cause of his side’s defeat at the hands of Wa All Stars in the weekend’s Ghana Premier League action.
Medeama succumbed to a hefty 3-0 defeat at the home of the defending champions to drop to 6th on the table.
Adotey was left disappointed after the game and says the poor pitch destroyed his team’s game plan on the day.
“It was our game plan to play the ball to feet, but unfortunately the nature of the pitch made it difficult for us to control the ball, so we were forced to use long balls which also didn’t help us,” he said.
Medeama will take on Ebusua Dwarfs next at the Tarkwa T&A Park.
