2017 U-17 WC: Toku, Aminu Mohammed benched for India clash

Black Starlets head coach, Paa Kwesi Fabin, has made four changes to his starting lineup for the tie against India on Thursday in the U-17 World Cup.

The team needs a victory to have a chance of making it to the 16 of the tournament and Fabin has called for the players to get an early goal to set them on their way to victory against the Indians who are yet to win a match.

Midfielders Gabriel Leveh and Ibrahim Sulley make the team while Mohammed Kudus and Aminu Mohammed drop to the bench.

Edmund Arko Mensah comes in for Emmanuel Toku and Bismark Owusu Terry replaces Abdul Razak Yusif who suffered concussion against the USA in the second group match.

Here is the full starting lineup:

Ibrahim Danlad; Yakubu Najeeb, Alhasaan Rashid, Gideon Mensah, Bismark Owusu Terry; Isaac Gyamfi, Gabriel Leveh, Ibrahim Sadiq, Sulley Ibrahim; Eric Eyiah,Edmund Arkoh Mensah.

The match kicks off at 2:30pm Ghana time at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi.

The match between the other teams in the group, USA and Colombia, will be played at the same time at the Dr. DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai.
