The Black Stars proved too strong for non-league side, Glow Lamp Academy, won 5-1 in a friendly match played on Thursday at the Cape Coast Stadium.
The match was to help the Black Stars prepare for the final 2018 World Cup qualifier against Egypt on Sunday at the same venue.
Ghana took the lead through Richmond Boakye-Yiadom and it was doubled by Nicholas Opoku but Glow Lamp had before Opoku’s goal found what turned out to be the consolation before half time.
Mubarak Wakaso scored a penalty in the second half to make it 3-1 and Raphael Dwamena and Lumor Agbenyenu added the fourth and fifth goals.
Stars coach Kwesi Appiah gave his players minutes in the half and he used largely two different teams in the two halves.
The first half team: Lawrence Ati; Daniel Opare, Abass Mohammed, Nicholas Opoku, Joseph Attamah; Godfred Donsah, Nasiru Mohammed, Edwin Gyasi; Richmond Boakye Yiadom, Nana Ampomah, Abdul Majeed Waris.
Second half team: Richard Ofori; Daniel Amartey, Kassim Nuhu, Agbenyenu Lumor; Mubarak Wakaso, Ebenezer Ofori, Godfred Donsah; Patrick Twumasi, Rafael Dwamena.
