Bechem United striker, Ahmed Toure, has joined Ivorian giants, Asec Mimosas, on a two-year deal.
The move was completed on Tuesday after the player confirmed to Citi Sports last week that Asec had reached out to him and had put on an offer on the table.
Toure, who was coincidentally born in Cote d’Ivoire, scored 13 goals for Bechem United to help the team finish 12th on the league log.
The deal was confirmed by Asec on their website and they stated that the player would be wearing the 29 jersey.
He told the club’s website that he “would give everything to the jersey to help the team reach its set targets for the season.”
Toure previously played for Kotoko between 2007 and 2008 and 2011 and 2012. He also played for clubs like Lokeren of Belgium, CS Sfaxien of Tunisia and El Gouna of Egypt.
He joins former WAFA forward Komlan Agbegniadan as another import from the Ghana Premier League.
