Kumasi Asante Kotoko deputy captain Eric Donkor has denied reports that he is demanding Ghc 50,0000 from the club before extending his contract for one more year.
Donkor is one of ten Kotoko players out of contract at the moment and reports surfaced last week that the 25-year old wanted Fifty Thousand Cedis before signing a new contract.
But the former Winneba Sports College defender says the reports are false.
“I have heard and read so many reports on social media speculating a lot of things but I will not comment because nothing is official yet.
“The team knows I have not quoted any such amount and my heart is with Kumasi Asante Kotoko,” he said.
Donkor is one of the longest serving members of the current Kotoko squad having joined the Porcupine Warriors as a youngster in 2012.
