Mohamed Salah has been rewarded for his brilliant run of form in November with the EA SPORTS Player of the Month award.
Liverpool’s summer signing is the first Egyptian winner of the accolade after scoring seven goals in four November matches.
He scored twice in each of the victories against West Ham United, Southampton and Stoke City, and also netted in the 1-1 draw with Chelsea.
Salah, the Premier League’s top scorer with 13 goals this season, received the most combined votes from a panel of experts, Premier League captains and fans to claim the prize ahead of six other nominees.
Burnley’s Robbie Brady, Manchester City duo Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling, Ashley Young of Manchester United, Chelsea’s Eden Hazard and Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi were also nominated.
Man City manager Pep Guardiola has become the second coach in as many seasons to win three Barclays Manager of the Month awards in a row.
Guardiola adds to his September and October accolades after guiding Manchester City to four wins from as many matches in November, as the Citizens closed in on what is now a record 15 consecutive PL victories, which they clinched at Swansea City on Wednesday.
The Spaniard matches the standard set by Antonio Conte last season when he helped himself to three monthly awards in succession on the way to guiding Chelsea to the 2016/17 Premier League title.
Man City beat Arsenal, Leicester City, Huddersfield Town and Southampton in November, helping Guardiola top a six-man shortlist including Conte, Sean Dyche, Jurgen Klopp, Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger.
