Sammy Anim Addo, manager of Emmanuel “Game Boy” Tagoe, tells Citi Sports that Tagoe is very ready for his bout against Fernando Saucedo on January 27.
Tagoe is putting his IBO Lightweight belt on the line for the first time since winning it against Fana Mzonke of South Africa in 2017.
Saucedo comes into the bout with wins in his last 9 bouts but Sammy Addo says Tagoe has what it takes to stop the Argentine.
“Tagoe has fought boxers who are more difficult to deal with than Saucedo. Some of those fighters are former world champions, like Fana Mzonke, but Tagoe was able to go past them.
With that experience and the fact that he has fought on the biggest stages in the United States, we are hundred percent confident that he will retain the title for us.”
