Polack wants better from Kotoko after loss to Dreams

Asante Kotoko head coach, Steven Polack, says his team must improve in their performances if they will achieve their targets in the coming season.

Polack watched his team fall to a 1-0 loss to Dreams FC on match day two of the ongoing GHALCA G8 Tournament on Wednesday at the Baba Yara Stadium.

And after the match, he said that the players had to fare better in their output for the rest of the tournament and the main Ghana Premier League season.

“Congratulations to Dreams FC on their win. They were better than in terms of ball possession and that was the problem that we had.

We needed to be better when we had the ball and once we kept running after the ball, we were always going to have problems.

However, this is pre-season and as a coach, I will have to assess the situation and see what must be done in the next two or three weeks. But the one thing that we must keep doing is working hard.”

Kotoko will play against Aduana Stars in the final round of group matches in the tournament on Sunday.
