Black Princesses fly to Cameroon for World Cup qualifier

Ghana’s female Under-20 team, the Black Princesses, will leave Accra on Friday for Yaounde where they are slated to play against Cameroon on Sunday on Sunday.

The match is the first leg of the last round of qualifiers for this year’s women’s Under-20 World Cup.

Head coach of the Black Princess’ team, Yusif Basigi, has named a team of 18 players for the match on Sunday.

Ghana beat Algeria and Kenya to make it to this stage of the qualifiers and in the process scored 20 goals.

Success against Cameroon over the two legs of the qualifiers will send Ghana to the 2018 Women’s U-20 World Cup in France.
