French Ligue 1 side, Caen, have made a formal bid of € 1 million for Ghana international Patrick Twumasi and could land the Astana forward before transfer window slams shut on Wednesday.
French paper L’Equipe reports that Caen and Astana have reached an agreement for the transfer fee and giving themselves a few days to determine the total value of the transfer with personal terms yet to be discussed with the player.
Caen only turned their attention to the 24-year old Ghanaian after failing to land his countryman Majeed Waris who joined FC Porto instead.
Twumasi has been linked with a move away from Kazakhstan in the last year since hitting the limelight with Astana where he was named player of the year at for 2017 at the club.
