Ghana’s Jordan Ayew has been voted Swansea Player of the Month for January for his efforts for the club.
Ayew scored twice in the month in matches against Newcastle United and Arsenal and apart from his goals, he worked hard for the team in matches played in the month under review.
Swansea played against Tottenham, Newcastle United, Liverpool and Arsenal and Jordan Ayew played in all those matches.
The announcement of the award on Swansea City’s Twitter handle on Thursday and Ayew showed his gratitude to the team via a tweet.

Fans of the team expressed their delight at the recognition of Ayew’s efforts for the team and some even described him as a” classy” player.

He is expected to be in the Swansea City squad that will face Burnley in the next round of the Premier League.
