The case involving Ghana Premier League side Accra Great Olympics and the Ghana Football Association has been adjourned to February 21 by Accra High Court 2.
The case was heard on Tuesday morning after Olympics placed an injunction on all activities related to the Premier League last week, forcing the GFA and Premier League Board to cancel the launch of the new season and the annual general congress respectively.
The injunction has also put the start of the 2017/2018 Ghana Premier League season on hold pending a resolution of of the matter.
Olympics has had a petition against fellow Ghana Premier League side, Bechem United, dismissed for “want of jurisdiction” but the ‘Dade’ lads believe they have a case that could possibly lead to the demotion of Bechem United and Olympics reinstated in their stead.
The adjournment means the Ghana Premier League cannot start at least until a conclusion of the matter when the two parties reappear in court next Wednesday.
