Head of Communications and Marketing of newly-promoted Ghana Premier League side, Karela United, Eric Alagidede, has described the club’s pitch at Ainyinase as the best in the country after it was approved to host Ghana Premier League matches by the club licensing board.
Members of the board were at the club’s facility in the Western Region and gave their thumps up to host the club’s matches in their debut season.
Alagidede has waxed lyrical about their facility and told Citi Sports a lot of work went into upgrading the facility to its current standard.
“The pitch at Ainyinase is one of their best, if not the best, in the country and a lot of work went into bringing it to that standard,” he said.
“Our dressing rooms are also some of the best in the country and the Club Licensing Board was very happy with all our facilities.”
Karela have been preparing for the upcoming season by playing in pre-season friendlies. They have also signed experienced players to augment their squad including Aduana’s Godfred Saka.
