The Board of Directors of Accra Hearts of Oak are demanding US$ 56,000 from suspended Head Coach Frank Nuttal after he admitted receiving the said amount from the transfer of some players of the club.
This was after the Scotsman was found guilty of aiding in the transfer of some Hearts players without the knowledge of the club.
According to a leaked report from the three-member committee set up to look into the ‘unethical behaviour’ of the coach, it revealed that Nuttal was paid US$ 50,000 and US$ 6,000 respectively from the transfer of two unnamed players.
Hearts of Oak last week, confirmed that it had suspended head coach Nuttal who had breached several of the club’s code of conduct.
Nuttal, who led Hearts to the MTN FA Cup final last year, has become a person of interest in the mass exodus of players from the club.
The committee in their report recommended the coach’s dismissal which was unanimously endorsed last Friday, and the decision will be communicated to him officially on Monday despite pleas by the coach to be allowed to stay on the job.
This is not the first time the Scotsman is being fired on the job in Africa after Kenyan side Gor Mahia sacked him in 2016 over a salary disagreement.
