Hearts of Oak will have to work extra hard if they are to register their first win of the season on Saturday against Ashantigold, according to Head Coach of the Miners C.K Akonnor.
The Obuasi based side will travel to Hearts’ new home ground at the Cape Coast Stadium looking to build on their opening day win over Wa All Stars.
Hearts on the other hand will be looking to bounce back after only managing a draw against newly promoted Techiman Eleven Wonders on match day one.
AshGold upset Hearts in last season’s corresponding fixture, and C.K Akonnor believes his side can repeat that result on Saturday.
“Hearts of Oak is Hearts of Oak and they shall continue to be Hearts of Oak, we know what they can do and we are working on that.
“We hope to make things difficult for them, because we also have our qualities,” Akunor told Kumasi based FOX FM.
The Miners are currently second on the Ghana Premier League table
