Betway, Ghana’s leading online betting platform, is joining forces with Citi FM as a sponsor for the station’s coverage of the 2017/2018 Premier League season.

Betway is not new to football as it sponsors Premier League side, West Ham, and is very popular among football fans in the country for its various products and offerings.

Speaking at Betway’s Concept Store in Accra on Thursday, Marketing Manager for Betway Ghana, Kwabena Oppong Nkrumah said that the entity’s strong association with football made the decision to partner Citi FM a very natural one.

“Betway is a brand that believes in football and if you look at our various offerings on our platforms, you will see that football is a critical part of what we do.

We have also done a lot of work in the area of football development in Ghana so it was a no-brainer for us to come on board the Premier League platform on Citi FM.”

Kwabena Oppong Nkrumah added that listeners would get amazing prizes such as air and match tickets to the United Kingdom to watch a Premier League match live, mobile phones, generators, television sets from Betway by listening to the live coverage of the Premier League only on Citi FM.

The company is a sponsor of Citi FM’s “Kick Off” daily morning sports bulletin and the “Sports Panorama” on Friday evenings.

The coverage of the Premier League will be live on Citi FM from August 11, 2017 and Arsenal’s home tie with Leicester City is the first live game of the season.
